Operational Theory
The aerator is a surface-mounted aspirator aerator that introduces air below the water surface. In surface, it has only one moving part, a hollow shaft connected to the motor shaft. A propeller is attached to the end of the shaft. As water moves past the propeller, a pressure drop occurs. This causes air to be drawn down the center of the shaft and dispersed by the turbulence beyond the propeller.
The aerator establishes a horizontal flow pattern much like the wake behind a boat.
This superior mixing flow pattern ensures efficient dispersion and use of all the air put into the water.
