Sludge does not move to flocculation tank
① Sludge pump does not work.
It is caused by pump failure, please contact pump supplier.
② Is there any residual air inside the pump?
If the liquid level controller failure results it can not work normally. Air will be inhaled to the pump. As a result, sludge can not be transfered normally.
③ Whether the sludge pump blocked or not?
Turn off the main power(ELCB1) to check whether the sludge pump blocked or not.
④ Test the sludge pump impeller is worn or not.
Although pump is running, sludge can not transferred completely. It may be caused by impeller wearing. If so, please contact pump supplier.
⑤ Is there too much sludge in flocculation tank(exceed its highest level position)? If overfill the flocculation tank, it may cause the sludge feeding too much.
In this situation, please adjust the level controller pipe to decreasing the feeding quantity and adjust the chemical dosing quantity.
If the flocculation tank is full of sludge, it can recover soon. If this situation continuously occured, it makes pump in a intermittent working state. As a result, it will shorten its service life. Therefore, Make sure that the quantity of sludge feeding and chemical dosing in a proper ratio.
⑥ Too much foreign matters attaching to electrodes makes it can not work normally.
Electrode attached with foreign matters causes a short-circuit. It may mislead people that it is caused by full water state. So please clean the foreign matters.
⑦ Sludge pipe valve is open or closed, or the pipe is blocked or not?
Check the valve and test the pipe.
