Lockout & Access for Auto Cleaning Self Filter
Lockout
A lockout/tag out procedure should be used with all equipment to ensure the safety of persons working on or in any equipment.
This should apply not only to the lockout of rotating or electrical equipment but also to vessels, and water supply lines.
Access
Proper access should be provided around all FILTRASCALE Filtration and Water Treatment System equipment. The practice of storing equipment or parts close to operating equipment should be discouraged.
Care should be taken to ensure that all areas are well lit so that operating and maintaining the equipment can be done in a safe manner.
Where possible, the floor should be treated with a skid resistant surface coating which should be kept dry and clean.
