Automatic hydraulic self-cleaning screen filter |
Process principle of the automatic self-cleaning filter (a) |
Water enters into the entrance. First, the primary strainer filters out the larger particles of impurities, and then reaches the fine strainer. In the process of filtering, fine strainer gradually accumulates impurity in the water and forms a filter impurities layer. Due to the accumulation of impurities layer formed inside the filter, the two sides of the fine strainer form a pressure gradient. When the pressure gradient reaches the default value, self-cleaning will begin. During the self-cleaning process, the cleaning valve opens, the hydraulic components and hydraulic cylinder motor room release pressure and discharge water, causing the pressure in hydraulic motors room and sewage suction pipe drops sharply. Due to the negative pressure effect, the dirt is absorbed by suction nozzle inside the fine strainer, enters into the hydraulic motor room relaying on the hydraulic motors, and then discharges from the sewage valve, thus finishes a suction sewage process. When the flow passes the hydraulic motors, it drives sewage suction pipe to rotate whereas the hydraulic cylinder piston drives the sewage suction pipe for axial movement, sewage suction machine's axial movement and rotation during the entire filter, clean the surface completely. The entire washing process 4 takes several seconds; sewage valve closes after the washing. Then, the increased of pressure drives the hydraulic cylinder piston back to its initial position, filter will prepare for the next wash cycle. In the washing process, the filter's normal operating condition will not be interrupted. |
